Senior Group
Senior groups are increasingly finding their way to our museum. At War Museum Medemblik, you literally step back in time. Everything is decorated in detail just as it was then, a trip down memory lane for many seniors.
While many war museums focus on the violent side of the war, War Museum Medemblik deliberately chooses a different approach. We focus on 2 themes: the population in the 1940s, featuring an indoor village reconstructed entirely in style, and the other theme covers unknown operations and stories of our liberators that were nevertheless vital to our freedom today.
Popular activities for senior groups include: Guided tours, 1940s-style lunch, and Traditional Dutch games.
