Ride in an original WWII army truck and discover the extraordinary stories behind seven World War II monuments!
During this special ride, you will travel along rural roads and enjoy the beautiful landscape. At each monument, a volunteer will tell the story behind it in three to four minutes.
One of the most remarkable stories concerns the monument at Wognum, where a crashed aircraft with six deceased crew members still lies beneath the A7 motorway. Thousands of people drive over this spot daily, unaware of what once took place there.
This tour offers a unique perspective not only on the surroundings but also on the history that lies literally beneath our feet. A valuable and unforgettable experience.
