Museum Card
At War Museum Medemblik, you can purchase a
Museum Card directly at the desk. This way, you no longer need to pay separate admission fees and you can
use the card immediately for your visit to the museum.
Available cards:
- Museum Card (adults) – €75
- Museum Card (youth up to 18 years) – €39
How does it work?
You will receive a temporary card in an envelope which is valid for 5 visits within 31 days. Subsequently, register your card online to receive your permanent card by mail.
With the Museum Card, you can visit more than 500 museums for free in the Netherlands, and since 2023, this includes War Museum Medemblik.
VriendenLoterij VIP Card
War Museum Medemblik can also be visited for free with the VriendenLoterij VIP Card! With the VriendenLoterij VIP Card, there is something new to discover every day throughout the Netherlands. The card provides free access to over 180 museums and cultural locations, including War Museum Medemblik.
War Museum Medemblik warmly invites all holders of a valid VriendenLoterij VIP Card to visit the museum and experience history up close.
Being a Museum Card participant
To be eligible for the
Museum Card, a museum must be officially 'Museum
Registered'. This is a strict quality mark demonstrating that the museum
operates professionally according to national guidelines.
Our path to Museum Registration
- 2017 - This year we started with 225 m² and 8 volunteers.
2019 - We began the registration process.
2022 - Officially Museum Registered designated.
We have since grown into a museum of 3,000 m²,
with 90 volunteers, 15,000 visitors per year, and we offer an
extensive program for schools and groups.
